Eoin completed his Diploma in Financial Planning through University College Dublin (UCD), is a highly regarded postgraduate qualification, designed for those working in financial planning.
Becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) meets the highest standards for those looking to provide financial planning to clients.
Having the SIA qualification enables Eoin to deliver the practical application of tools and techniques to construct and manage client portfolios.
Eoin’s background in advising on pensions and investments allows him to take a holistic approach when assisting clients with their protection needs.
Although we do not process mortgages at emero, we do assist in putting Mortgage Protection in place. Eoin’s background in mortgage advice allows his to advise and assist clients with a clear perspective.
Having the Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification allowed Eoin to broaden his knowledge of the insurance industry as his career progressed.
Eoin has been guiding and advising clients since becoming a Qualified Financial Advisor in 2004.
At work
Eoin is a Director at emero Insurance and has been providing advice to private clients and companies for over 18 years.
Prior to starting emero Insurance, Eoin built up a strong track record having held senior advisory positions in Aviva and Willis Towers Watson.
During his time at Aviva, Eoin managed several teams with a core focus on the protection elements of the business.
Managing teams in such an environment enabled Eoin to build his knowledge and experience when guiding clients and minimising their exposure to risk.
Eoin takes a holistic approach to financial planning. He believes protection is the cornerstone of financial planning but also realises it is only one part of the puzzle.
In his role at emero Insurance, Eoin provides advice on all aspects of financial planning and estate planning.
He also works closely with the self-employed and company directors to minimise their risk and ensure tax-efficient strategies are in place.
